Keri & Peter

I have been waiting for the wedding of Keri & Peter ever since I photographed Peter's sister Vicky in September of '05. Besides being two of the most attractive people I have ever met they love each other very deeply and it showed in everything they did.

Can't believe their day has come and gone now. But as consolation I get to work on their big beautiful wedding album! :)

Just as I had envisioned their day Keri was absolutely gorgeous and Peter looked like he stepped off of a Hollywood set.

The flowers were from Bella Flora with the reception at The Lake View Pavilion in Foxboro.

Here are a few images that I hope captured the beauty and the color of their fall wedding. Enjoy! :)

Marly & Garry's Wedding

So happy that I can finally share some images of Marly & Garry's wedding. Been wanting to post images from this August 30 wedding for a while now. A truly wonderful couple that knows how to celebrate. :)

Welcome Baby Clara!

I feel bad about not updating my blog in forever but I have a pretty good excuse! On Thursday August 28th we welcomed Clara Emily into our family. She is beautiful and healthy and she is all that we wished for.

Here are a few pictures of her first few days.

At first I thought the scale said 8.8lbs! But its really 7.88lbs. Almost started Atkins! :)

All of us are still in awe of her. Zachary is in love just as much as we are.

This quite would soon end.

Love at first sight for Memere.

Pepere is already the father of three girls so he is use to all the pink clothing and accessories. I'm not there yet. :)

Boys with the new girl.

Another proud Grandmother. My mother came all the way from Mexico to share in our joy.

Beautiful! Not sure who's genes these are but I am not complaining.

Smith Family Beach Portraits

Just love doing beach portraits. Always good fun! Plus the Smiths' are some of my favorite people so it was an easy gig. :)

These Rhode's are water loving folk so we took there boat to the mouth of the Narragansett River for an early morning session. Here are a few of my favorites.

Ellis Family Portraits & Senior Session

First a Family Portrait & then a Senior Session. Good fun with Melody Ellis and her family.

Really enjoyed shooting Thomas for his H.S. portrait. The light was great at that time of the evening and made a perfect golden hair light & second light. Very cool! :)

Engagement Session

August 16th is just around the corner and I am really happy that Alexi, Robert & I were able to find time to do an engagement session in Boston. I really enjoy these sessions as it gives me an opportunity to work with my couples before the big day. They can get use to my babbling and strange sense of humor and I discover which of them will need a little more prompting on the wedding day. A great deal of comfort is created in both directions.

Happily both Alexis & Robert enjoy being in front of the camera and I didn't say anything inappropriate the entire session! :) A very successful evening in the Public Gardens.

Here are a few images from our time together.

Raffle Winners from the Mansfield Fun Walk

Another great time at the Funwalk here in Mansfield. Saw lots of old friends and clients walking the streets of downtown Mansfield and bunches of new friends too. The evening heat which started out pretty oppressive was nice and comfortable after dusk.

Thanks to all that participated in the raffle. Here are our three winners:

Grand Prize Winner of a portrait session and a $50.00 print credit is...Yvette of Frances Ave Mansfield. I would put her full name here but my brain is really soggy and Yvette's handwriting got a little smudged in transit. :) I will try on the phone tomorrow.

First Prize winner of the $100 gift certificate is Jennifer Stratton of Marshall Ave in Mansfield.

Second Prize winner of the $50.00 gift certificate is Jenn Silverman of South Main Street in Mansfield.

Congratulations to all you Winners! I look forward to meeting you soon.

Happy Independence Day!

Congratulations to Gretchen & Ryan Conlon whose wedding I was lucky enough to photograph on July Fourth at the Officers Club in Newport, RI. It was a bit gray and overcast, not to mention hot & muggy, but it was a lovely time and we got some beautiful images.

Thank you to the Bridesmaids for being such a lovely group and tough enough to climb a huge boulder in Narragansett Bay for our portraits. They went above and beyond for the Bride & I. Happily it was low-tide and a swim was not required! :)

From the Officers Club you could see fireworks everywhere. Both sides of the bridge were lit up as well as towns up and down the shoreline. A very nice way to enjoy the evening. Thanks for inviting me!

Cullaz & Aveni Family Portraits

It had absolutely poured earlier in the day and I was sure this session was not going to happen. But the sky cleared and the sun came out and it turned out to be a lovely evening for portraits. It also helps to have beautifully landscaped grounds and a good-looking family, but - it's all about the light! :)

Thanks for inviting me into your home. I had a great time and hope we can get together again soon.

Monday's can be fun!

Had the opportunity to due a few portraits of my good friend Valerie Larsen the other day and jumped at the chance. Valerie is an excellent photographer with a lovely studio in Norton, MA.

Val wanted to show off her new 'body by gym' and I figured it would be a good way to start off a Monday morning! :)

I appreciate that Val knew I would be discrete and professional while artistically capturing her form. Thank you. Fortunately for everyone Val will be doing a more traditional portrait of me and my family with the arrival of our Baby Girl at the end of the summer.

Here are a couple images from the session. The rest of the images are for Valerie only!

Congratulations to Erin & Rob!

Yup, got to attend another wedding as a guest. This time on June 21st. Haven't attended a wedding w/o working for a few years but in 2008 I have three! It is certainly going to be difficult to match the beauty and the fun of Erin & Rob's wedding.

Imagine if you will a beautiful beach surrounded by friends and family and exchanging vows as the waves lap on the shore. Then an all night party starts with one of the most amazing sunsets ever. Pretty cool! :)

We truly love Erin & Rob here at JfsPhoto and couldn't be more happy for them. It was an honor and a privilege to be a part of their celebration. Thank you!

Can't wait to see the images from the working photog. I forget his name and my online searches have not turned up the right husband and wife team but I will find them. Once I do they will be linked here.

Here are some of my favorite images from the weekend. They should all be posted online very shortly.
