We are moving!

Actually at this point we have completely moved out of our commercial space! :) I loved the studio at 185 N.Main in Mansfield but it could be a little snug at times. Those who were lucking enough to join us at the studio can testify to that! At least the bunny for the Easter photography sessions couldn't hop to far.

For the foreseeable future I will be meeting clients at my 'residential studio' set up at my home. My commute just improved incredibly! :)

Le Studio Danse

Visited my neighbors across the street at Le Studio Danse at
184 North Main St Mansfield, MA 02048 (508) 339-7666. The studio is owned and run by Valerie Brunetti and has been town landmark as the businesses come and go in our busy downtown.

When I wandered in Valerie and the ladies were practicing for an up coming show at the Foxboro High School. They were good enough to let me hang around and capture some images. Take a look!

Cookie-Sweet Bakery!

Cookie-Sweet Bakery is the newest addition to our downtown here in Mansfield. Located at 214 B Rumford Avenue this pretty little place serves up some great pastry which is something we have needed in town for a long time.

Even though it was raining really hard outside business was brisk at the grand opening. Owner Ruth Salonia had dreamed of one day opening a bakery and I think we are the lucky ones!

Check out some photos!

Great Black & White Session!

Meet my new best friends the - Forte Boys! :) We had a great time in the studio and captured some really nice black and white images. The dark clothing and mottled background really worked well with the good looking boys.

Actually got to photograph Christina Black and her Boys earlier that same day. What are the chances of photography two families of three boys each all in Black and White in the same day! Pretty cool.

Here is a selection for images:

I just love this picture! It is one of my favorites.

Lots of Images to Post!

Still a newbie at this whole blog thing. Been shooting quite a bit and need to keep up my uploads.

Casey O'Conors is the latest and greatest edition to our little downtown in Mansfield - located at 219 North Main Street. On Saturday February 16th, yeah I know I am way late on this images, Casey's opened the doors for the first time. This was not the grand opening nor was it even advertised and the establishment was packed! When I arrived at 9pm it was standing room only in the bar and the dining room was crowd even with a limited menu. Guess we needed an Irish Pub in Mansfield and just in time for St. Patrick's Day!

Met the owner Rob Burns who was incredibly impressed by the first days showing and looking forward to the official grand opening the week of St. Patrick's. I'll find out the official date and time.

Here are a few images from that first day:

Glee Gifts

Went to visit my good friends at Glee Gifts in Mansfield between shoots on Saturday. They have got a huge amount of the coolest gifts in that store. Owners Nadine and Ann have been known as the Glee Girls since they opened in 2005 but now Nadine is moving on to other adventures while Ann continues with the store. Sorry to hear that news about Nadine leaving but I know that Glee Gifts and Ann will be fine.

I poked around there shop and took a few pictures.

Ann hard at work!

Got a visit from one of my favorite clients!

This past Saturday my good friend Christina Black and her small army of boys Aidan, Mooshie & Jacob took over my studio with the help of Auntie Lexi. These boys have been to the studio before so they quickly opened the box of toys and climbed up on the leather sofa like it was home! :)

We got some really nice images and have included a few of my favorites and still working on the rest of the session right now.

Auntie Lexi plays 'Vanna' with Jacob's cake.

Jacob wasn't sure what to do with this cake all to himself. He seemed to think it was a set-up! His brothers did their best to encourage him.
